An outpatient program is a non-residential treatment plan that allows you to attend scheduled therapy sessions several times a week while continuing to live at home. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) typically involves 3–5 sessions per week of 2–4 hours each, over a course of 6–12 weeks.
IOP is the bridge between immersive residential care and independent recovery — enough structure to keep sobriety on track, enough flexibility to keep your life moving.
Flexible structure
IOP sessions feature the same clinical depth as residential care: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), family counseling, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate.
Programming also includes urine testing, case management, and relapse-prevention education — the practical accountability structure that keeps early recovery honest while you practice new coping skills in real-world settings.
Our process
We confirm IOP is the right level of care for your addiction severity, support system, and schedule.
3–5 weekly sessions of 2–4 hours, arranged around your work, school, or family commitments.
CBT, DBT, MI, and group work focused on relapse prevention and practical coping skills.
As you progress, session frequency tapers and your long-term aftercare plan takes over.
Who this is for
IOP suits individuals who have completed inpatient treatment and need a transition step, those with mild to moderate addiction symptoms, and anyone who maintains a strong support system at home.
It is also the right fit when work or school makes residential care impractical — you get structured clinical support without stepping away from your life.
Making recovery last
Early recovery is when new coping skills either take root or fade. IOP keeps clinical support present during exactly that window — several sessions a week, real accountability, and a peer group facing the same daily tests.
Practicing recovery skills in real-world settings, with clinicians reviewing how it went days later, is what turns treatment insights into lasting habits.
